Tomorrow’s Inside the Six looks at the developing situation with the United Soccer Leagues – the organization responsible for much of the competition below Major League Soccer on our domestic pyramid. USL was recently sold by Nike to a group called NuRock Holdings, who to date have been unwilling to implement chances the Team Owners Association require of the league office.
Brian Quarstad has been on top of the story ever since it because known Nike was accepting bids for the leagues. He writes at Inside Minnesota Soccer and joined me on the 34th edition of Inside the Six.
In the final segment of the show, The Kartik Report’s Kartik Krishnaiyer – who has worked with Brian to develop many of the stories we’ve read this summer – joins us to prognosticate on what is in the future for the USL
